You'd be surprised how often folks think I'm a guy...now that we've cleared that up--hi there! I am originally from a tiny town called Mays Landing, NJ, smack dab in the middle of Philadelphia and Atlantic City. After high school, I hopped a midnight train to Georgia and completed my undergraduate degree in Motion Media Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2014 and never looked back...except for when my ma calls and demands I come home to visit.
My ultimate goal is to prove that hard work really does pay off and I do it by connecting audiences to brands by communicating core messaging through graphic, web and motion design. I am a born leader with a knack for strategy, and that, combined with my strong knowledge in these three cornerstones of digital, makes me an excellent team member and invaluable problem solver. I am energized by personally challenging myself to create a broad spectrum of work using these skills and take pride in rolling up my sleeves and being able to jump in on a multitude of projects with my diverse skill set.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to create work for a wide range of clients and brands, including Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Nickelodeon, McDonald's, Quilted Northern, Charles Schwab, Adobe Systems Inc. and The Walt Disney Company.
Outside of work, I try to volunteer my time mentoring students from my alma-mater high school about design and creative careers. I also serve on the Leadership team for Lean In Atlanta. Lean In Atlanta is an organization that seeks gender equality for women and men in the home and in the workplace by facilitating meetings and events centered around support, education and empowerment. I've founded the Lean In Atlanta Midtown Circle, established & currently lead the Chapter Marketing Committee.
I proudly and happily reside in my adopted city of Atlanta, GA. By day, I am a Multimedia Designer at Adrenaline Agency...by night, I constantly fight the urge to eat gratuitous amounts of Mexican food, cook, garden, bike, blog and wrangle my two cats as a proud cat-mom!
For the curious: in my unicorn-level-rare free time, I write for my blog, The Domestic Feminist, where I focus on creating a carefully curated, well-designed, balanced & messy life.
