For the 2016 National Sales Meeting, our Client came to us with a core theme centered around the title "Amplify", as in amplifying their sales messages. Using this as a jumping off point, we thought it would be fun to play with the visuals of a rock-n-roll, Battle of the Bands vibe.
For the Sales Meeting, our client required a short 30 second Show Open to kick off each day of guest speakers. These frames were designed for the open, and I was inspired by the contrast of emotions in rock music, from empowering, spirit-of-revolution type vibes to the deep sorrow of loss and failure. I decided to illustrate this contrast by an intense contrast of color + temperature: hot + cold, fire + ice. Ultimately, the client went with another direction, but these frames were too much fun to work on and not be shared.
