I am deeply passionate about equality. In an effort to make a difference in my community, I volunteer my time as the Chief Experience Officer & Creative Director for Lean In Atlanta, the official Regional Chapter of LeanIn.org. Lean In Atlanta was the U.S.'s first Southeast Lean In Chapter, and is currently the largest/fastest growing Chapter in the Southeast. Since joining Lean In Atlanta's Leadership and building our visual identity, our membership has increased over 600%, Instagram followers increased 900% and our Facebook community has quadrupled in size.
In 2016 I laid the groundwork to develop the brand for our Chapter and Circles. I developed a visual identity system that visually represents our organization's structure. In 2018, I designed, developed and launched our Chapter website. Currently, I work closely with the Regional Chapter Leaders to develop creative advertising for various events and education initiatives, such as Equal Pay Day. I also lead our Circle Leaders through my creative direction, empowering them to be proactive brand defenders and advocates. Aside from my creative contributions to Lean In Atlanta, I have also been an integral part of the Chapter Leadership, working closely with our Regional Leaders to develop processes and establish a strong foundation that is agile enough to grow with us as we scale.
Working with Lean In Atlanta has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I strongly believe that the visual identity and marketing strategy I have developed and created with the Regional Leaders has been paramount to our growth and success as a Chapter. I am proud to be able to help such an important cause and am so glad that my skills have helped connect so many like-minded women (and men!) to support, empower and learn from each other.
